About Us

The Albany Studio is an upcycling studio dedicated to helping you improve your home. Founded in 2022 The Albany Studio was born from a frustration with the ever-growing tide of our throwaway society. We believe passionately in the power of recycling and are deeply committed to building a more sustainable future, one lovingly transformed piece of furniture at a time.

Here at the studio we sell furniture that has been loving refurbished with a creative flare and is ready to take home. We sell award winning Frenchic Furniture paint and use this exclusively, as well as Two Fussy Blokes Rollers and Re-design with Prima products.

Creativity is at the heart of everything we do and we are committed to helping you find your own talents. Engaging in hands-on projects can be incredibly rewarding for your mental well-being, offering a mindful escape and a tangible sense of accomplishment, so we run workshops to teach you how to upcycle your own furniture. We also offer more advanced classes to help you turn your furniture into art.

We also believe that this beautiful Island we call home harbours a wealth of creative talent and we are committed to supporting local artists and creators. Our lovely new Studio at 2 Glen Falcon Road, Douglas features artwork by local artists and various items crafted by local producers. Pop in for a browse, we'd love to help you.
